Volunteering
Taking Part welcomes people who are interested in supporting, and speaking up for people who find it hard to get their voices heard. Our volunteering opportunities are valuable for you, the person you support and rewarding.
We support volunteers to advocate for people with learning disabilities in our communities. We also have a team of volunteer trustees who support our organisation.
If you would like to volunteer as a citizen advocate, or trustee, we would very much like to hear from you. All we ask is that you really want to help people with learning disabilities. You need to have a good idea of what is right and wrong, and understand how people are feeling. You need to be a good listener and be able to speak up for someone to help them have their voice heard. To find out more about Citizen Advocacy go to our dedicated page (https://www.takingpart.co.uk/projects-3).

We also are looking for volunteers to join our Digital Skills Programme team. To learn more about the project, visit the Digital Skills aspect of our website (https://www.takingpart.co.uk/digital-skills).
If you would like to find out more about our volunteering opportunities, please get in touch.
